Kassel/Berlin, 17 July 2024

Qonto, the leading European financial solution for SMEs with over 500,000 customers, has decided to integrate the account switching service of fintech company fino.digital, which specialises in account and data analysis. “We were impressed by fino.digital’s many years of expertise and reputation in the field of account switching, and we are delighted to be able to offer our customers this innovative service free of charge in future. While simple account switching was previously reserved exclusively for private customers, business customers can now also benefit from the advantages of a simple and efficient switching process,” says Marcus Scheumann, Managing Director Germany at Qonto.

fino.digital developed the first digital account switching service for the financial sector back in 2015, laying the foundation for the success of the data and account analysis specialist.

Aleksandar Jeremic, CEO of fino.digital, explains: “As a pioneer in the field of account switching, we revolutionised open banking in the private customer business in Germany and have been continuously developing the solutions ever since. We are proud to have gained a strong partner and customer in Qonto, with whom we can also demonstrate the strengths of our product for use in business accounts.”

With over 500,000 customers, Qonto is the leading European financial solution for business customers, enabling small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and freelancers to organise their finances more efficiently. With Qonto, business customers can now switch their account easily and smoothly and benefit from all integrated digital solutions such as invoicing, accounting and expense management. “The fino.digital account switching service is a targeted expansion of our portfolio that makes our customers’ lives easier and helps them to focus fully on the success of their business,” adds Marcus Scheumann from Qonto.

“If our open banking solutions succeed in giving our partners and their customers more time for the essentials – namely focussing on their own customer relationships and business models – then we will have achieved the goal with which we once started out: to offer added value in the truest sense of the word with data,” adds Aleksandar Jeremic.
